How to Access Bangladeshi Laws Online for Free
Accessing Bangladeshi legislation has never been easier. Our law library indexes 67+ acts in both Bengali and English, with full-text search and section-by-section navigation. Whether you are a law student, a legal professional, or a curious citizen, the library is completely free to use.
What is Available
The library covers major acts including the Penal Code (1860), the Contract Act (1872), the Evidence Act (1872), the Code of Civil Procedure (1908), the Special Powers Act (1974), the Information and Communication Technology Act (2006), and the Digital Security Act (2018). Each act is displayed with its full text, section headings, and bilingual title where available.
How to Use the Library
Browse the full list on the Laws page, or search by keyword. Each act opens to a detail page with a table of contents. Click any section to jump to it. Use the "Load more" button to expand sections incrementally — even the longest acts (the Penal Code has over 500 sections) load progressively.
Download as PDF
Each act page includes a PDF download button. The generated PDF includes the full act text, section numbers, and a table of contents. PDFs are formatted for printing and offline reading.
Source & Updates
All acts are sourced from bdlaws.minlaw.gov.bd, the official Bangladesh government legislation portal. We format and structure them for a better reading experience. The library is updated as new acts are published or existing ones are amended.
